Yara Babrala Plant bags the FAI Award for the Best Technical Innovation for enhancing Urea product quality during dry weather conditions.

 Yara Babrala implemented an innovative solution to maintain urea quality, crushing strength and load during dry months (March–June), when humidity drops to around 10%. A high-pressure water-mist system was installed at the prilling tower air-inlet louvers, increasing air humidity. This significantly reduced off-spec product, cut recycling costs, and eliminated safety risks from manual handling of off-spec product.
