Yara India reaffirms its ongoing commitment to ESG stewardship

-Releases its 3rd edition of Sustainability Report 2024 at the Royal Norwegian Embassy titled "Greener Pathways: Fostering a Nature-Positive Food Future"

Aligned to the Yara Integrated Report 2024, Yara India released its 3rd Sustainability Report 2024, titled “Greener Pathways – Fostering a Nature-Positive Food Future.”

 

turst-in-india The report highlights ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, inclusive growth, and agricultural transformation through innovative and sustainable practices. This is Yara India’s third sustainability report, developed in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Universal Standards 2021 and externally assured by TÜV SÜD South Asia (BIS 14489:1998 and ISO 14001:2015 certified).

 

The report captures the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance across its operations in India, manufacturing plant in Babrala, Uttar Pradesh, and community initiatives under Kiran – A Yara India Community Initiative.

Speaking on the release of the report, Sanjiv Kanwar, Managing Director, Yara South Asia, said,

The challenges are real, but so is our resolve to address them with solutions that are inclusive, science-led, and locally rooted.”

Sharing her thoughts on the release of Greener Pathways, May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India said,
