Terms & Conditions for the Yara India women in Agronomy scholar award
Please carefully read the Terms and Conditions for Yara India’s Women in Agronomy Scholar Award 2025-26 by Yara Fertilisers India Private Limited. If you do not agree to any of these Terms and Conditions, you may choose not to participate and proceed further.
These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) apply to your access to, and participation in this award initiative which is managed by Yara. Yara reserves the right to change, modify and/or terminate this initiative and/or these T&C or any policy, pertaining to this initiative at any time and in its sole discretion, without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever.
Your participation in this initiative confirms your acceptance of these T&C and any such changes or modifications. If you do not agree to the T&C, you may choose to opt out of this initiative at any time prior to award ceremony.
- This initiative by Yara is neither extendable nor negotiable.
- Any tax liability arising from the receipt of the scholarship award shall be the sole responsibility of such scholar/awardee.
- Yara India reserves the final authority on the interpretation of the T&C and administration of the Women in Agronomy Scholar Award 2025–26.
- Yara’s decision regarding the eligibility, selection, and disbursement of the award is final and binding on all the applicants.
- Yara will communicate any updates, changes, or clarifications regarding this initiative to the eligible applicants through official channels. Eligible applicants are responsible for staying informed of any such communications.
- Yara expressly excludes any liability arising from or in connection with this initiative and disclaims all representations and warranties including warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness.
- No requests for transfer or assignment or redemption of the scholarship amount shall be entertained. Eligible applicants agree that all decision of Yara related to this initiative will be final and binding on eligible applicants. Failure by Yara to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person whatsoever.
- This initiative is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, pandemics, epidemic, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Yara ("Force Majeure Event"). Yara shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to you as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
- Applicants and awardees agree to indemnify and hold Yara and its affiliates harmless against any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their participation in this award program/initiative.
- In no event the liability of Yara for any claims whatsoever in relation to or arising out of this initiative shall exceed Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only).
- Any disputes related to this initiative shall be referred to Yara Fertilisers India Private Limited for resolution. The competent courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such matters.

- Your personal data will only be used for evaluation, communication, mentorship, recognition or any purpose incidental and consequential to the scholarship initiative.
