Programme Details

India’s healthcare system shows a stark urban–rural divide: 75% of healthcare infrastructure serves just 27% of the population living in cities, leaving rural communities with limited access. Nearly 30% of Indians lack financial protection, making quality care even harder to reach. Uttar Pradesh, including Sambhal district, reflects these gaps with some of the country’s poorest health indicators. Kiran’s health initiatives aim to bridge these disparities by strengthening primary healthcare, improving maternal and child health, and promoting preventive practices aligned with national priorities such as NHM, JSY, and Ayushman Bharat.
